First Friday is an art walk event mostly in the arts district (think: section of Broad street between VCU and the convention center) where a bunch of galleries and stores host open house type events to encourage people to interact with their spaces.

Some will have specific activities or little snacks or wine for visitors.

The Main library is doing an art club to help promote their “innovation lab” (makerspace)

I'm open to heading in whatever direction the group prefers.
