Apex Board Game Night
Details
Bottle Theory has started a weekly board game night in Apex, starting at 5 PM. Let’s bring a few small games and enjoy some drinks (beer, wine, nonalcoholic drinks sold; outside food allowed). I’m also posting this on the Aftergame app so feel free to RSVP there: https://aftergame.app/groups/unaffiliated-board-gamers-o-8156
Games I'll Bring if We have 5 - 6 Players:
- Cat in the Box: Unique trick-taking game where your card’s color isn’t defined until you play it!
- The Gang: Co-operative poker! Players bet on how good they think their hand of cards will be relative to the other players.
- One Night Ultimate Werewolf - A quick social deduction game with up to sixteen unique roles.
- Letter Jam - a cooperative word game where players assist each other in composing meaningful words from letters around the table. The trick is holding the letter card so that it’s only visible to other players and not to you.
- High Society - players bid against each other to acquire the various trappings of wealth (positive-number and multiplier cards) while avoiding its pitfalls (negative number and divisor cards).
- Lifeboat: a fast-paced card game of intrigue and survival. Players vie for the highest score when the boat reaches land — a seemingly simple matter of surviving with the most treasure. But each player has a secret love and a secret enemy among the passengers, and no one knows when landfall will occur.
Games I'll Bring if We have 3 - 4 Players:
- Azul Mini: Travel size version of Azul, a colorful tile drafting game.
- Bot Factory: Worker placement robot building game!
- Savernake Forest: Prepare for winter! Players build their own section of the forest with paths where animals and food will appear. To get the highest score, players must ensure that on each path the animals can collect their favorite food.
- Sushi Roll: Dice drafting version of the popular game Sushi Go!
- The Tea Dragon Society Card Game: A cute engine-building game with tea dragons.
- Adventure Time Love Letter: a game of risk, deduction, and luck based on the original Love Letter game.
- Gasha: Set collection game about Japanese toy dispensers.
Games I'll Bring if We have 2 Players:
- None. We'll probably go roller skating instead.
You're welcome to bring games to teach and share!
