Read Between The Wines Book Talk!

Hey hey Book lovers! It’s time for another read and I’m super excited for April’s read. We will have the author on deck with us for our discussion. Our next read will be A Mariner’s Tale by Joe Palmer. Joe is one of our locals and is an award winning former newspaper reporter and columnist for the Fernandina Beach News-Leader. Joe is a Navy veteran and medical corpsman that went on to work as a surgeon’s assistant at St. Vincent’s Medical in Jacksonville. He’s also written investigative reporting and featured stories for different cities as well as local for the Florida Times Union. Joe has also served as an investigator for 20 years for the Federal Public Defender’s office. A Mariner’s Tale is described as a “ phenomenal story of how individuals’ simple actions can change the lives of others”. This may be a good one!
