In our gong fu tea experience you’ll sit at a handcrafted tea table while a tea master brews rare, whole-leaf teas in a sequence of short, precise infusions that reveal aroma, sweetness, and texture like never before.

You’ll learn timing, temperature, and technique, taste a range of terroirs, and enjoy a deliberate, restorative hour with friends or solo.

Our quiet gong fu tea rooms feature America's largest hand carved root wood tea table - an absolutely gorgeous piece of woodworking - and the largest jade tea table in America; carved out of a single piece of jade.

Roughly translated, Gong Fu means "mastery" or in the context of tea, "sommelier". There is a gong fu of brewing tea and people with great tea gong fu are often called sommeliers. We work and practice to improve every day - just like any other professional.

Gong fu tea is more than tea served in small cups. It is a traditional way of brewing that’s built around calm rhythm, precise timing, and careful attention. In a smaller group, we can stay true to what makes gong fu tea special. We can brew with intention, adjust infusion by infusion, and give everyone the space to slow down, relax, and really notice how the tea changes in aroma, mouthfeel, aftertaste, and flavor from steep to steep.
