Remembering Rob Reiner at The Black Potion!

Hello, SA Movie Lovers!

We weren't able to pull this off in January due to nasty weather, so let's try again! We're kicking off March with a celebration of one of Hollywood’s most versatile filmmakers, Rob Reiner! From romantic idealism to razor-sharp courtroom drama, we'll be showcasing two of his most iconic films back-to-back.

6:00pm – The American President (1995)
Rob Reiner and writer Aaron Sorkin team up for this smart, warm-hearted romantic drama starring Michael Douglas as a widowed U.S. president who unexpectedly falls in love. Witty, sincere, and deeply human, it blends political idealism with old-fashioned movie romance — a reminder that character still matters in power.

8:05pm – A Few Good Men (1992)
This gripping courtroom drama pits military loyalty against moral truth as two young lawyers uncover a dangerous conspiracy within the U.S. Marine Corps. Free parking is available in front and along the side of the theater, as well as in a big lot behind the store across Lynwood Ave.
