The Odyssey | Saturday Event

Directed by Christopher Nolan, The Odyssey is an epic fantasy action film that adapts Homer's ancient Greek poem, following Odysseus (Matt Damon) on a treacherous 10-year journey home after the fall of Troy. The film balances large-scale mythological spectacle with an intimate psychological character study as Odysseus tries to reunite with his family.

Just a little tidbit of information - I recently watched a 60 Minutes interview featuring Christopher Nolan that highlighted his career and many of his remarkable accomplishments in filmmaking.

Not only did he direct this film, but he also wrote the screenplay adaptation, based on the ancient epic poem by Homer, with Homer receiving the 'based on the epic poem by" credit.

One of the things that stood out to me was learning that this film was shot entirely in IMAX, an incredible achievement that is considered extremely challenging in today's entertainment industry.

Hearing about the dedication, innovation, and vision behind this project inspired me to host this event. I'm truly excited to share this experience, and I hope you'll join me for what promises to be an epic and unforgettable film exprience.
