Black Potion/Movie Daze event
An intriguing Fantastic Fest Sci-Fi Double-Feature:
Arrival + Coherence - two acclaimed mysterious thought-provoking films about ordinary people confronting the impossible.
6:00 PM – Arrival (2016)
When mysterious spacecraft appear around the world, a linguist (Amy Adams) is recruited to communicate with their occupants. Denis Villeneuve's thoughtful first-contact film explores language, communication, and our attempts to understand the unknown.
8:05 PM – Coherence (2013)
Eight friends gather for dinner while a comet passes overhead — and their evening starts becoming increasingly strange. A clever, tense sci-fi puzzle best experienced knowing as little as possible beforehand.
One enormous event made intimate. One intimate gathering made enormous.

📍 The Black Potion — 1900 Fredericksburg Rd., Ste. 101
For the uninitiated, Black Potion is a large game room up front. The auditorium is past the bar/food counter, down the hallway, last door on the right.
