We're wrapping up Fantastic Fest Month at Black Potion with two wildly inventive Japanese movies united by one thing: people desperately trying to make a movie.

6:00 PM – Why Don't You Play in Hell? (2013)
A group of amateur filmmakers finally gets its big break when it's recruited to film an actual yakuza war. Sion Sono unleashes an outrageous mixture of gangsters, action, comedy, bloodshed, and movie-loving madness.

8:20 PM – One Cut of the Dead (2017)
A low-budget film crew heads to an abandoned facility to shoot a zombie movie. Anything more would be saying too much — this ingenious horror-comedy is best experienced knowing as little as possible.
