Longden A Secluded waterfall in a hidden valley.

We start this walk from Longden Village hall (SY5 8EX) just to the south-west of Shrewsbury. There is also some extra parking in the side roads of Longden Village but avoid the Tankerville Arms which is now closed for good apparently. The walk is about 6 miles moderate with some ascents and descents on mostly field paths and woodland and some minor roads. We will take a short break at the Lyd Holes waterfall (as pictured) then continue across fields to Plealey and eventually returning to Longden.
For those who require post-walk refreshment there is the Red Lion a few miles along the main road to Longden Common (SY5 8AE) which is a nuisance but necessitated by the closure of The Tankerville Arms. Dogs, only on a lead, please. This is our first undertaking of this walk.
