Stanmore Country Park to Rindleford Circular

This is a really lovely 10-mile walk starting from Stanmore Country Park. We head across the countryside before making our way via Wyken and Worfield to Soudley Rocks and Rindleford following the River Worfe. Returning through woods to Pendlestone and High Rock, Jacob's Ladder and The Hermitage. Then, back to the start through The Hobbins. A pretty walk on fields, tracks, lanes, and footpaths with many interesting rock formations and features. The beautiful spring flowers should be out, too. Parts of this walk can be boggy, depending on recent weather and sturdy footwear is recommended particularly for the woods where the paths can be slippy and also the sandstone cliffs of High Rock (NB, although we will be high up on the clifftop, we have no need to go close to the edge.) There are stiles and livestock on this walk. Dogs must be kept on a short lead.
