Brockton Round

A circular walk climbing up from Brockton Village (the one near Worthen).
Parking is on an area of waste ground on the right hand side when coming from Shrewsbury SY5 9HU or smaller.unique.norms or SJ318045. Early arrival recommended as there is not unlimited space. The walk takes us through a delightful dingle and gives tremendous views of the Stiperstones, Bromlow Callow and Cornden Hill with a hillfort and pleasant wildflower meadows with bluebells and ramsons (wild garlic) in season.
Right next door is the Cock Inn for post-walk refreshment (if so desired).
The walk is 6 ish miles and moderate with many uphill sections. Dogs on a lead, please. This is our first schedule of this walk for Pathfinders.
