Lakes, woods & canals. 4.5 miles

Will meet at Colemere carpark SY12 0QW, this is a chance to see this walk in sring time. Did this in the autumn last year. Walk starts through the woods beside the lake then up onto the canal following till we reach a road. Small stretch of road then foot path across undulating fields to the beginning of a country track. Along track with old oaks and hedge descending to bridge over canal with a lovely thatched cottage. Back through the trees ending back at the carpark. This is a easy relaxing walk, good paths and fairly flat but can be muddy on canal paths. We can stop at the Red Lion in Myddle if you fancy a 🍻 drink. You can bring a snack and drink if you want as might stop for a small break depending on weather 🥪.
