Market Drayton Ramble

This is a new walk for us starting in Market Drayton Centre (TF9 3AA and chum,free.cavalier) at the Towers Lawn 1 carpark which is free on Sundays and has hundreds of spaces. The parking is right by the LIDL shop on Cheshire Street Market Drayton and is easy to find. Right by the bus station and there are public conveniences alongside. The walk is urban with street walking at start and finish but we will proceed alongside the Shropshire Canal to Tyrley Lock flight so plenty to see. There is the tree stump man to look out for too but mainly flat walking with not a single stile if my memory serves me correctly (it sometimes does!). We will stop somewhere for a short break so bring snacks etc. and for those that need post-event sustenance there is a Wetherspoons (the Hippodrome Circa 1927) within a hundred yards of the car park.
