Llanfyllin Circular - Lonely Tree Hill, Jericho Hill & Bodfach Park

A walk of approximately 7/8 miles. Walking through the small town of Llanfyllin up to the site of The Lonely Tree, sadly felled by a storm. There is a steepish ascent up the hill but the views are wonderful on a clear day, well worth the effort. The countryside then becomes rolling as we head towards Jericho Hill and circle back to Llanfyllin and down through Bodfach Park. There are public toilets on the opposite side of the road from our car park and a Spar shop beside the car park. We can enjoy some after walk refreshments at the New Inn or any of the other establishments in the town. Dogs are welome but must be kept on a short lead.
