A walk along the Bridleway following the base of Corndon to Roundton Nature Reserve, up a short but fairly steep track to the summit of Roundton Hill, returning past the Scout hut. We then head steadily up a track to the summit of Corndon before a steep descent back to the cars. The Miners Arms at Priest Weston should be open for a pint if anyone would like some post walk refreshments. The walk will take approximately 4 hours over varied terrain. As always dogs must be kept on a short lead at all times. Poles may be useful for the steep descent.
We will be starting from Severn Trent enclosed reservoir near White Grit, where the Bridleway from Old Churchstoke meets the minor road which heads to Priest Weston. Parking on the wide grassy or gravel verges.
