Out with a bang camping weekend!

I think that we are all sorry to see Pathfinders go but completely understand Eirlys, Paul and Roger’s reasons for doing so.
With Eirlys’s agreement I thought that it would be good to have a camping weekend as a final event (I’ve been meaning to organise one for years!).

Venue is Fleece Meadow Campsite in Kington.
Please book your own pitch. If you can do without a hook up then we can all gather together on the riverside pitches.

On Saturday Adelene will lead a walk onto Hergest ridge over to Gladestry and back.
10 miles approx 400 m ascent and descent.

Sunday Hay Bluff, a pathfinders fave, led by Eirlys
10 miles through beautiful countryside up to the summit of Hay Bluff, starting from Hay on Wye we walk through Cusop Dingle alongside the Dulas Brook, making our way up to the summit with its wonderful views over England and Wales. Returning via Offas Dyke Footpath to Hay. A longish gradual incline with a short steep climb up to the summit. Not too strenuous.
Start from Oxford Road Car Park Pay and Display . Times to be confirmed.

I will make meal arrangements closer to the time. I’m thinking book somewhere for a meal on Friday night and a barbie on the Saturday.
