Lakes, woods & canals. 4.5 miles

Will meet at Colemere carpark SY12 0QW, this is a chance to see autumn in all it's glory. Walk starts through the woods beside the lake then up onto the canal following till we reach a road. Small stretch of road then foot path across undulating fields to the beginning of a country track. Along track with old oaks and hedge descending to bridge over canal with a lovely thatched cottage. Back through the trees ending back at the carpark. This is a easy relaxing walk, good paths and fairly flat but can be muddy on canal paths. We can stop at the Red Lion in Myddle if you fancy a 🍻 drink. You can bring a snack and drink if you want as might stop for a small break depending on weather 🥪.
