30s Ladies Day Trip to Wrest Park

Join us this Saturday at Wrest Park House & Gardens — also known as the “British Versailles” for its grand scale and elegant French-style landscape design. Expect sweeping formal gardens, canals, statues, and peaceful walking routes, plus a beautiful historic house to explore.

The entire journey plus the train ticket we will buy are added in the screenshot to this post.

📍 Meeting point: London Bridge Station - 10 AM
🕙 Train departs: 10:20 AM (please make sure to buy your train ticket in advance)

🚆 We’ll travel to Flitwick, then take the Bus 200 to Wrest Park (tickets can be bought on the spot).

🏛️ We’ll explore the house first, then stroll through the gardens together before heading for a quick lunch.

Lunch at the cafe or we can do a picnic:

At Wrest Park there’s usually:
• A café on site (hot drinks, snacks, light lunches depending on season)
• Outdoor picnic areas in the grounds

🔁 Return journey:We’ll head back from Wrest Park to Flitwick by Bus 200, then take a train from Flitwick back to London. Trains run regularly throughout the afternoon (roughly every 20–30 minutes), so we can decide together on the day depending on how long we want to stay. —- We will buy tickets in advance to get the OFF peak.
