Let’s escape the busy city for a lovely autumn day exploring historic architecture, beautiful gardens, picturesque riverside scenery and charming independent shops, finishing with tea in a magical greenhouse setting.

🚉 11:00 – Meet at Richmond Station
We’ll meet outside Richmond Station before making our way towards Ham House.

🏛️ 11:30 – Ham House & Gardens
Step back in time as we explore this magnificent 17th-century mansion, admire its historic interiors and wander through its beautiful formal gardens.

🍂 13:00 – Riverside & Petersham stroll
Enjoy a leisurely walk through the picturesque surroundings, taking in the autumn colours and riverside atmosphere.

🌿 14:00 – Petersham Nurseries
Explore this enchanting garden centre, with its beautiful greenhouses, plants, antiques, homeware and charming interiors.

🫖 14:30 – Afternoon Tea at Petersham Nurseries
Finish with tea, coffee and delicious cakes in a cosy, plant-filled setting. There’s also the option of booking their special Garden Afternoon Tea experience.

❤️ 15:30 – Final browse & departure
One last wander around the nursery before heading home.

Ham House & Gardens:

• Adult admission: £18 per person.
• National Trust members: Free.
• Tickets are purchased individually on arrival at the Visitor Reception.
• Advance booking is not available.

Please bring your National Trust membership card if you are a member.

Afternoon tea and refreshments: Paid individually at Petersham Nurseries. Special Garden Afternoon Tea requires advance booking.
