Beach Therapy in Wilmington

Moving to Sunday due to weather.

Join us for a day trip to Wrightsville Beach in Wilmington.
About a 2-2.5 hour drive. Three people can ride with me (leaving at 9am) or you are welcome to meet us there.

Parking at the beach ($30/day) goes quickly.

My plan is to drive to Wilmington and have brunch at Blueberry's Grill (1900 Eastwood Rd) at about 11am.

I will leave my car there and Uber/Lyft ($10-15 per way) the remainder of the drive to Johnnie Mercers Pier (23 E Salisbury St, Wrightsville Beach) arriving at the beach about 12:30pm.

I plan to bring a beach chair, towel and cooler bag with drinks and snacks for myself for the day. There are no nearby convenient stores to purchase anything once there.

After our fun in the sun and ocean we can return to our cars by Uber/Lyft and drive to nearby Bridge Tender seafood restaurant. Reservation for 6 at 6pm.

New modern restrooms are at the pier for changing from beach clothes to dinner clothes!
