Play casual soccer @ Tempe Reserve!

Let's play casual soccer at Tempe Reserve. They have a really good cork synthetic grass pitch and it's waiting for you to have a game there.

Meet at the long benches next to the synthetic pitch (right hand side of featured pic). If the synthetic pitch is occupied by comp games, then we'll meet near the big centre pole and play on the dirt pitches next to the synthetic. There's plenty of free car-parking around. I would recommend parking at the first car-park on the right, if not that then go park at the big one at the end. It's also a ~15min walk from Wolli Creek Station.

We will do 2 mini games, all of which are 30m-40m wide.

Please note:
- We'll play from 3pm until daylight savings resume. Please arrive on time or not too late or you will be rejected from playing. Please ensure you are on the Yes list, not just waitlist, or you will be rejected from playing also.
- This group is Beginner Soccer i.e. only for those who are beginner to intermediate level (we aren't UCL, EPL, La Liga or ACL nor do we act like it). If you're advanced, this is not the group for you. We are a respectful group. So try to keep to standing tackles, and no verbal abuse or massive egos which occurs a lot on other soccer groups.
- No smashing the ball with 200%+ force; that's how Arthur got injured previously.
- Meetup is the source of truth for my soccer events. No other facebook or Whatsapp chat groups should be referred to, though we also spread the word on the Tempe Recreation Reserve Soccer Facebook page. If you get contacted by any stupid idiot nong about a Whatsapp group, report it in to Kevin so they can get booted out of the Meetup group. Sign up to ensure you have a spot.
- Only come if well. Don't come if displaying COVID-related symptoms or otherwise isolating.

If you have a soccer ball and/or pump, please bring them along to ensure that we start relatively soon after the advertised start time. Also bring along a black and white shirt (NO GREY NOR BROWN) for even teams. If you have cones or portable goals/goalposts, then bring them too.

This is generally a free event - once in a blue moon we'll seek gold coin donations to help keep the group going, but this will be disclosed in comments if so. Hope to see you there. Cheers!
