Panther Creek Picnic Run, Morristown, Act II Scene II

This is a reposting of the attempt to do this ride in April. As you recall somebody forgot to feed the meter on the good weather machine back then.

Interested in a picnic run to a bluff overlooking a beautiful lake?

Let's head over to Panther Creek State Park near Morristown. The picnic area is on a bluff several hundred feet above and overlooking the Cherokee Reservoir.

Let's arrive at the meet-up spot in Jonesborough 9 AM with a kickstands up time of 9:30. AM.

The route is over what used to be old stagecoach roads and pretty much stays in the countryside avoiding high traffic areas until near the park at Morristown. Bathrooms are few and far between out meetup spot and the park some 80 miles away.

This is a bring your own picnic event. There are picnic tables and bathrooms at the picnic area bluffs.

As always, pack a rainsuit as someone may inadvertently tick off the rain gods.
