Maggie Valley & Wheels Through Time

This a ride suggested by fellow member Kirk.
It sounds like a lot of fun. I will make it the September ride.

It is billed by Kirk as an overnighter with plans for a Sunday event but feel to bail Saturday afternoon if you don't want to stay over.

He begins it in Bluff City and heads south to Maggie Valley but for those of us living south of Bluff City I will offer a 2nd meetup location t avoid having to backtrack.

Hi Wilkes, I wanted to extend an invitation to the group to ride along with me for short trip. Can you help by putting up a message or event to the group? I'm riding to Maggie Valley Saturday Sept. 6th and returning Sunday Sept. 7th. It's a great weekend there. The AMCA is sponsering a stop at the Wheels through Time museum on the 6th. This is for the Trans American Endurance race for vintage motorcycles. There is also the Thunder in the Smokies rally going on just down the street from the Museum. My plan is ride out of Bluff City 7AM on the 6th and take 26 so I get to Maggie Valley in time for breakfast around 9. Then onto the Museum and then maybe the rally. I'm staying at the Quality Inn - close by. They still have a few rooms left. Sunday I'm thinking about swinging off 26 at 19E and taking that back to Bluff City. I really don't want to lead a ride but will welcome anyone who wants to tag along. Thanks, Kirk
