Same Town, Different Restaurant

Let's head over to Hot Springs, NC. It's a nice route there and this time of year a shorter ride may be the wise choice.

Hot Springs has a new (new to me anyway) restaurant named Spring Creek Tavern. The reviews are great and the menu reads like an old fashioned home cooked meal kind of place with fried okra, fried green tomatoes. chicken wings, BBQ, sandwiches and a beer list that appears endlesss. It has great views of the mountains and heated outdoor seating.

The ride there is approximately 45 miles and on the back roads we'll be taking the trip will take a little over an hour to get there. Gas and bathroom breaks won't be an issue.

Be sure and dress for the weather.
