About us
My name is Colin. I’m in Vancouver/Vancouver Island area. I’m a recent retiree with a passion for international travel and volunteering. I love traveling to different countries to contribute to local communities and experience new cultures firsthand. I’d love to meet others who are interested in travel, volunteering, and seeing the world through a different lens! I usually spend about 3 months a year in a different country. I volunteer part time and explore the other time. Sometimes the organizations I volunteer with offer a free an apartment and other benefits. Ask about my time on Greek Islands (I may return), having Dalai Lama as a neighbour in Northern India, Stone Town, Zanzibar or Uzbekistan. I’d like to find like minded people who are ready for an adventure.

We host coffee chats, planning sessions, and "Travel Story Nights" in both Victoria and Vancouver and online to get to know each other before heading abroad.
