Let’s Kanji it!

Writing a "kanji" (Japanese letter) with a smartphone is fine, but... doing it with a brush and ink is an entirely different matter! Ever tried that before? I want to share with you the beauty of "Shodo", the Japanese art of calligraphy.

Whether an absolute beginner or a master of kanji, you will enjoy writing a beautiful ideogram. You can stick it on a "Karimaki" (traditional hanging roller), take it home, and place it on a wall. Write down your favorite kanji or even your name.

Firstly, I will explain how to use traditional brushes and ink. Afterward, we will practice several times to master this technique so that you can write yourself.
We will have a special Japanese tea with traditional sweets during the meetup in a Japanese-style room.

In addition, we will have the opportunity to talk in English or Japanese with new friends. I'm looking forward to it, and you?

For repeaters, if you would like to write kanji again, you can participate for 1,500 yen without karimaki.
