From the artist's website:
Esoteric America: Decoding the Founding Ideals is a groundbreaking two exhibitions by Hayato Matsushita, inviting viewers to embark on a journey through America’s revolutionary origins and its enduring symbols of freedom, unity, and opportunity.
Held in two historic cities—Philadelphia, the birthplace of independence, and New York City, the nation’s first capital—this exhibition unearths the hidden meanings and esoteric language behind the founding ideals of the United States. Through Hayato’s bold artistic vision, ancient wisdom, Masonic iconography, and Enlightenment principles come alive in works that resonate with the challenges and aspirations of today’s world.

I'll add additional gallery and other stops if and when they're announced; I already know that some spaces are skipping First Friday, or moving it up a week, because of the holiday weekend. But if you're around, come join us for the above opening, where I can introduce you to the artist, whom I happen to know. After all locales containing art have been visited, those of us who are free and interested can go to one of the many restaurants and bars in the area and/or see the fireworks.
I'll actually be attending one of the New York exhibition events at the 201@105 Gallery, which is, fittingly, located at 105 Mulberry St., Room 201. :) The opening is on July 9th from 5-9 PM, followed by an artist talk on July 17th at 7 PM and a combination closing/artist talk on August 24th at 3 PM. When I've determined which one, I'll post it here in case anyone wants to, well, meet up there. :)
