Start off Labor Day Weekend with the group at the Clay Studio in Fishtown!

Details
From the website (https://www.theclaystudio.org/):
The Clay Studio inspires curiosity and discovery around the art and craft of clay, drawing together students, artists, and an engaged public into a welcoming community. Every day, in our classrooms, studios, galleries, and neighborhoods, we deepen the connection between people and clay with the highest quality programs and exhibitions. Founded in 1974, The Clay Studio continues in the belief that shared creativity, so fundamental to humanity, is a critical force for good.
If you don't have travel plans, then come join us!
We're meeting a little earlier than originally planned due to the special events coordinator not seeing my confirmation email, but I hope that the timeframe works for more of you than not (the idea being that work days might end earlier than usual at the start of a holiday weekend, especially this one).
We'll be taking a tour from 3:00 to 4:30, which should give us more than enough time to explore the latest exhibit--and the shop, which is like an exhibit itself--before the 6:00 closing time. After that, we can probably get into some Fishtown hotspots more easily than usual (my conclusion is based on a local TV news story about New York on holiday weekends, so I'm extrapolating :)). By the way, the end time is just a placeholder because we need to provide it; in reality, I'm flexible.
Also by the way, I'll be attending the opening of the latest exhibition(s) on Thursday the 14th from 5 to 8 pm. If you'd like to join, here's the form: Summer Exhibitions 2025 Reception RSVP. I'll look for you if I know you'll be there.
Finally, we'll be able to tour the space in two groups of 20, so could you be up-to-date with your RSVPs? Thanks!
