And here's what my friend Matt Cohen, who is one of the photographers, has written to me in an email:

"...There will be a number of excellent Philadelphia-area Photographers selling their prints at the sale including some well known area notables - including Harvey Finkle, Stephen Perloff and of course yours truly. All proceeds go to support Immigrant Rights organizations - The photographers are donating their work so fundraising is maximized...The photography included is wide ranging including street, abstract, nature, etc."

He added in a subsequent email, "There will be refreshments including beer and wine after 5pm."

So let's go to help Matt (you probably won't think of birds the same way after seeing his amazing images of them) and his colleagues help a group of people having a particularly difficult time these days.

As usual, we can go out for food and drink after either 7:30 or 8:00 (if people want to stick around until the end of the sale) if you're interested. We'll be right in the middle of town, so there will certainly be a lot of options!
