Sunday on the Pier with Hayato (+ Race and 3rd Streets)
Details
Thank you again to the intrepid art-lovers who were willing to join me last
Friday for gallery hopping in the 100-degree heat! (For those of you who
didn't make it, I more than understand, and you had lots of company: The
usually bustling event was quite sparsely attended this month. :))
Moving on, in a few weeks, we can see what we didn't get to on that night and have a more indepth experience in one of the galleries we did get to:
Stop 1 is the PII Gallery, where artist Hayato Matsushita will answer any questions you have about his great new exhibit. Then, we'll head over to the Museum for Art in Wood, where we'll catch several exhibits in their final hours. After that, we'll go to the Cherry Street Pier, which has lots of special July exhibits including another one of Hayato's and still one more to which he contributed work, design, and ideas. He'll be joining us there after his "informal conversation" period at the gallery ends at 6:00. Finally, those of us
who are not completely exhausted or don't yet need to be elsewhere can
go for dinner in Old City.
Here's the exhibit list:
