Once again, the Art Appreciation Group is here to make your holiday
weekend in the city more, well, artistic, :) and, dare I say, more social as well.
But in the interest of making you feel as if you've traveled somewhere during
this next First Friday, we'll be heading all the way down to Chestnut Street!
:) (Seriously, the event there looks quite intriguing as well as a bit different
from what we usually do: https://www.oldcitydistrict.org/events/first-friday-take-note.)

To accommodate our going a few blocks from our typical stomping grounds,
I thought we'd start a half hour earlier than usual, though if any of you can
meet even earlier and want to go to the Artist and Artisans Market
(https://www.oldcitydistrict.org/events/artist-and-artisans-market-2026), which starts at 4:00, just let me know.

Here's our tentative itinerary (along with the times the gallery or other space
in question is open that night), which I'll update if and when additional venue
info arrives:

1. Muse Gallery, 52 North 2nd, 5-8
2. Science History Institute, 315 Chestnut, 5-7
3. Paradigm, 12 North 3rd, 6-8
4. Flower Bar at the Elfreth's Alley Museum, 124-126 Elfreth's Alley, 4:30-7
5. F.A.N. Gallery, 221 Arch (no hours listed yet)
6. Museum for Art in Wood, 5:30-8
7. The Jane Gallery, 32 North 3rd (not sure of the starting time, but it's open
until 9)
8. PII Gallery, 242 Race (not absolutely sure it'll be doing First Friday)
9. Arch Enemy Arts, 109 Arch, 5-9

As usual, if people are up for food and drink afterwards, we can go to one of
many possibilities in Old City.
