What we're about

We assist the NYC Department of Parks with routine gardening tasks in scenic Morningside Park in Harlem. We meet every Friday at 9 a.m. at the Field House, new 112th St. and Manhattan Ave.

Anyone interesting in gardening and beautifying the park is welcome! No experience is needed. Every week we will work with the park gardener who will provide any tools needed.

Friends of Morningside Park the 501(c)3 non profit stewardship organization for the park will provide work gloves. Please wear clothing appropriate for spending time working in the dirt! Due to COVID-19, volunteers must bring and wear face masks and will be working at least six feet away from other volunteers at all times.

Starting in March 2021, Friends of Morningside Park will also offer volunteer opportunities every second Saturday, from 10 a.m. to Noon. Activities will include general park clean up, weed pulling and raking.

Please complete to our Volunteer Interest Form (http://morningsidepark.org/volunteersignup.php) to participate.

We hope to see you there!
