What we’re about
Venice Film Squad is a group of rough-and-ready, all-purpose film-making colleagues working on highly producible short films. Geographically we are centered in Venice, CA. But not all work must be done on location.
We write, table-read, develop, direct, shoot and promote. In short, we do absolutely everything. And we are impatient to make films!
The squad is a non-anonymous group of supportive colleagues building something for the long-term. We are self-contained and self-sufficient, depending on no one. We do it ourselves. No auditions, no waiting.
So we are looking for creative people of all backgrounds with the courage to try new things - learn by doing and through non-judgmental iteration. On the squad, no one says: “No, sorry, that’s not my thing.” We all are willing to step up to any necessary task, and we just love being on set and around film-making!
