What we’re about
This group is for ladies who live in/near the Pearl District or Northwest Portland area (ages 25ish-40ish) interested in getting together for social gatherings and making new friends. Our outings will include anything from trivia to bar hopping, champagne socials, cooking classes, book clubbing, and more. If you're new to the area, or just want to meet some fun new girlfriends, join!
Ps. Our group is all about fun and friendship, so if you have an idea for an event you'd love to do with your fellow Pearl Girls, send us a message, and we'll try our best to set it up!
Some courtesy guidelines:
• If you RSVP for an event, please be there! (Or at least remove your RSVP as soon as you know you can no longer attend). We usually keep our meetups small so we can build friendships and reduce the anxiety of meeting up with huge groups. That means there are only so many spots for each event, and space is limited to those who RSVP first. We totally understand that schedules change, so please just be considerate and remove your RSVP for events you know you cannot attend anymore. That makes room for those who can make it, and also tells us you're not just flaky. We appreciate it! :)
• We ask that you be active in our group, and really make the most of it! Please only become a member if you plan to participate in events, and be friends with us. We really want to meet you, and we promise our outings aren't intimidating... you just have to show up!
• So that you are recognizable to us at future events, we do require that you have a clear image of yourself as your profile photo before approving your membership (bitmojis don't count!). A profile photo is beneficial to all of us (you included), so we can find each other at hosted events, and put a face to a name. :) Unfortunately, those without a photo of themselves in their profile will not be approved for this group. So take your best selfie, and post away!
