An introduction to conservation working dogs in South Africa
The Canine Research Group is a charity in South Africa specialising in rescuing behavioural euthanasia cases and giving them the opportunity to work in the African bush to help researchers save wildlife. This webinar explains how we select our dogs and what jobs they do.

What will I learn in this event?
You will gain an overview of how conservation working dogs are used in South Africa, including wildlife detection, anti-poaching efforts, and ecological research. We will also explain how we select working dogs from the many behavioural euthanasia cases we get sent.

Do I need to be a dog professional or have prior experience?
No prior experience is required. This session is designed for beginners, as well as anyone interested in wildlife conservation, dog training, or working dogs.

Will there be opportunities to learn more or get involved?
Yes (at the end if you wish to stay for the final 30 minutes) we will share information about future training programs, volunteer opportunities, and additional webinars for those interested in getting involved.
