What we’re about
Welcome to the Unlimited Adventures Meetup group! We are situated mainly in Northeast Ohio and the surrounding counties. This is a group for anyone who likes playing in the outdoors, socializing, and generally having a fun time throughout the year with different activities as the seasons change. Some of the fun things we like to do are:
- Kayaking the multiple surrounding lakes, reservoirs, and rivers that are inclusive of all kayakers and boat lengths.
- Hiking in our beloved Cuyahoga Valley National Park (CVNP) and Summit/Cuyahoga Metro Parks year-round.
- Biking on the beautifully well-maintained bike trails in the surrounding areas.
- Camping in many of the 75 State Parks in Ohio where often we combine multiple activities into one trip during a weekend stay.
- Winter activities such as skiing, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing and tobogganing during the off-season as weather permits.
- Visiting wineries, craft breweries, and local hometown eatery establishments often conclude activities but are never a requirement to joins us and have a good time.
If staying active and socializing is something you like to do, then join us on one of our Unlimited Adventure!

We'll explore the creek and lake then head over to the Village Inn for post paddle beers and snacks.A bit about Chippewa Lake:
Among the largest natural inland lakes in the State of Ohio, the 325-acre Chippewa Lake was created some 14,000 years ago by the melting of massive glacial ice sheets as they retreated north. In recent history, the lake served as a playground for generations of visitors to storied Chippewa Lake Amusement Park, which closed its doors in 1978 after 100 years. The Village Inn will be our post paddle destination for food and libations. It also makes a great "Plan B" if the weather goes sideways.
