Come join us for a little fun at La Due Reservoir.
Boats of all lengths are welcome and encouraged to join this event. There are no boat rentals available. That means you must bring your own gear to this event.

History:
LaDue Reservoir was constructed in 1963 on a tributary of the Cuyahoga River to provide additional water supply to Akron. The reservoir is situated in an area of glacial deposits characterized by numerous kames and small relict glacial lakes and ponds. Ground cover in the surrounding area includes marshy, wooded, and meadow areas.

The Boat Launch:
We will launch from the smaller boat launch on Rt 44. There is no address and this is the best I can offer: LaDue Reservoir Boat Ramp,
01-708903, Chagrin Falls, OH 44023. See the map in the photos.

Time:
Meet at 10:30am for launch at 11:00am.

The Plan:
We will head NW around the smaller side of the lake first. Then we will head back East to the middle section and explore until we are tired, hungry or both.

1. A PFD must be worn at all times.
2. Register your boat if you haven't done so already.
3. Wear appropriate clothing for the weather.
4. Paddle at your own risk.
5. This event is weather permitting. Please check this page the day of the event if the weather questionable.
