Hiking in the CVNP - Buckeye and Valley Trails from Jaite Trailhead

Come hike the Buckeye and Valley Trails North! This is a 5.5-mile hike.

ROUTE DIRECTIONS
Between miles 2.8 and 3.3 can be somewhat difficult to pass during periods of high water. Mud and a deep creek crossing might prohibit you from doing this route during certain times of the year.

• 0.0M From the trailhead parking lot, take the connector trail to Snowville Rd and turn right on Snowville Rd.
• 0.2M Turn right on the Buckeye Trail.
• 1.4M Continue straight. The trail on your right is a shortcut connector to the Valley Trail.
• 2.7M Turn onto the Valley Bridle Trail.
• 3.2M Cross over Riverview Rd and continue straight on Valley Bridle Trail.
• 4.8M Turn right on Vaughn Rd.
• 4.9M Turn on connector trail to Riverview Rd. This connector trail is not always available. If it is not, stay on Vaughn Rd and there is another connector trail just before the railroad tracks.
• 5.4M Turn right on Riverview Road and back to the trailhead parking lot.
