Hiking in the CVNP - Pine Lane - Buckeye, Towpath and Valley Trails

Come hike Pine Lane - Buckeye, Valley and Towpath Trails! This is a 7.0-mile hike.

ROUTE DIRECTIONS
There are creek crossings and some of this trail can get very muddy. Buckeye Trail Association continues to work on hardening the trail - it is a lot of work to haul in and spread the trail mix - you will see their hard work in sections.

• 0.0M Enter the Buckeye Trail from the parking lot (next to info kiosk.)
• 1.1M Turn left on old Akron Peninsula Road (closed) to continue on Buckeye Trail. Soon after there will be a right turn onto the Buckeye Trail.
• 1.9M Turn left to stay on the Buckeye Trail and through the pine trees (Pine Lane).
• 2.3M Continue straight through the intersection with Valley Trail and on to Boston Mills Road. Turn left and cross the bridge. After the bridge, turn right to stay on Buckeye Trail.
• 2.8M Cross over Boston Mills road and continue on Buckeye Trail.
• 3.9M You will exit the woods on to a path (turning right) that will take you to the Towpath Trail.
• 4.0M Turn right on the Towpath Trail and up to the Boston Store area where you will turn around and come back. There are bathrooms at Boston Store.
• 4.4M Turn left off of the Towpath and continue your way back.
• 4.5M Continue straight on the Valley Trail and the old road instead of turning on to the Buckeye Trail.
• 4.9M Once you pass under the Ohio Turnpike bridge turn left and follow the gravel road/Valley Trail up the hill.
• 5.5M Cross over the Buckeye Trail continuing on Valley Trail.
• 5.8M Continue straight through the intersection of Wildlife Woods Trail. Wildlife Woods Park is actually owned by City of Hudson!
• 6.1M Turn left on old Akron Peninsula Road and shortly thereafter right to stay on Valley Trail back to Pine Lane Trailhead.
