Hiking in the CVNP - The Plateau, Hemlock Ravine, and Oak Hill Trails

Let's go hiking this Fall!
Now that there isn't any daylight in the evenings after work, I am moving these hikes back to the weekends!
Come hike the Plateau, Hemlock Ravine, and Oak Hills trails with us! This is a 5.2-mile hike.
Trailhead Address:
3901 Oak Hill Road, Peninsula, Ohio 44264
ROUTE DIRECTIONS
- 0.0M From the trailhead, next to the restroom, enter trail. Turn left shortly into the trail to start Plateau Trail.
- 1.5M Continue straight on Plateau Trail down the hill.
- 2.1M Just before Valley Picnic Area, turn right continuing on Plateau Trail.
- 3.0M Turn left on to Oak Hill Trail. Note: You will now begin a section that confuses a lot of people - even those of us that have travelled these trails for many years.
- 3.1M Turn left back on to Plateau Trail.
- 3.3M Turn left and do the out and back section of the Hemlock Ravine Trail.
- 3.5M After coming back from Hemlock Ravine, turn left on Plateau Trail.
- 4.0M Cross past Meadowedge Pond on your left.
- 4.2M Turn right on to Oak Hill Trail.
- 4.3M Continue straight on Oak Hill Trail.
- 4.4M Continue straight on Oak Hill Trail.
- 4.7M Continue past Sylvan Pond on your left.
- 4.8M Turn left staying on Oak Hill Trail.
- 5.1M Turn left and back to Oak Hill Trailhead.

- Group will meet at 11:00am and will start hiking shortly thereafter.
- All hikes are dog friendly and must be on a leash.
- All hikes are dependent on the weather. Please check for updates in the morning before the hike.
