Trail Information:
There are creek crossings and some of this trail can get muddy. Pine Lane offers a quieter, less crowded trailhead compared to more popular CVNP spots. It’s perfect if you want a mix of forest immersion, historical context, and challenging terrain. Expect hills and uneven terrain with roots and rocks. The Pine Lane trail was named after trees planted by Fred C. Kelly, a humorist and Wright Brothers biographer who was active in early conservation efforts in the valley.
