🏸 Stamford Hill Badminton Club
Welcome to Stamford Hill Badminton Club — a friendly and sociable club for people who enjoy playing badminton and want to get some good games in a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.
📍 Venue
We play at All Saints Catholic High School in Stamford Hill, which offers 4 well-maintained badminton courts and changing rooms for your comfort. The sports hall has excellent lighting and plenty of space, making it perfect for enjoyable, high-quality games.
🕓 Sessions
We hold regular club sessions where players mix and rotate to keep games varied and fun. Expect friendly rallies, good sportsmanship, and plenty of laughs along the way.
🏸 Shuttlecocks
Players can choose between feather or plastic shuttlecocks, depending on preference. Please bring your own racket — shuttlecocks are provided.
👟 Footwear
To protect the courts and keep them in great condition, players must wear clean, non-marking indoor trainers. Outdoor or dirty shoes are not allowed on court.
We recommend bringing your badminton shoes or trainers in a carrier bag, and changing into them at the venue before play begins.
👥 Who Can Join
This club is ideal for players who have some experience playing badminton — maybe you’ve played socially, at school, or in casual games before — and want to improve while having fun. It’s not for absolute beginners, but you don’t need to be at an intermediate or competitive level either.
