International Waltz I (beginner-intermediate) - 6 Weeks Course Group Class

International WALTZ I (BEG-INT COURSE) Group Class – 6 Weeks
TUESDAYS at 7pm – commencing on TUESDAY, APRIL 21st, 2026
6 consecutive Tuesdays at 7pm (last session on APRIL 14th)

Cost:
$89 per Person for 6 Weeks (1 person)
$178 per Person for 6 Weeks (couple)

👞👠 Shoes/Clothing - clothing should comfortable and suitable for dancing/moving; please bring a change of clean/dry shoes (not worn outside); if you don't have dance shoes yet, dress shoes are best; typical tennis shoes are worst (they stick to the dance floor and prevent your feet from pivoting/turning).

CLASS LEVEL (BEGINNING):
We will teach technique, fundamental steps and all the essentials for beginning WALTZ. A partner is not required, we regularly rotate students during the class. Prior Ballroom (Smooth/Standard) experience is helpful for this class.

Waltz is a smooth progressive dance characterized by long, flowing movements, continuous turns, and rise & fall. Graceful and elegant, Waltz dancers glide around the floor almost effortlessly. At 28-30 measures per minute, the tempo is slow at best, but the expressive quality of the music often invites very powerful and dynamic movement from dancers.
