This month’s highlights include:
- Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum – See over 40 retired Royal Canadian Air Force aircraft and hear the stories behind them.
- Her Majesty's Canadian Ship – Step aboard a real WWII naval destroyer.
- Royal Botanical Gardens – Wander through beautiful seasonal gardens.
Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum
Founded in 1972 by two aviation enthusiasts, the museum now houses over 40 retired Royal Canadian Air Force aircraft—each restored to tell a story of history worth remembering.
Her Majesty's Canadian Ship
After an optional lunch at Hamilton’s unique Nations international food court, we’ll head to the HMCS —the world’s last remaining Tribal-class destroyer, retired from the Royal Canadian Navy.
In the afternoon, we’ll visit Canada’s only botanical garden with a “Royal” designation.
The Royal Botanical Gardens were granted the royal charter by King George V in 1930 and feature:
- 5 uniquely themed gardens with rare and exotic plants—indoors and outdoors, all year round
- Over 50 endangered species, 2,500 plant varieties, and more than 231,000 individual plants
