The Mighty 5 National Parks of Utah - Moderate Hiking Tour

Details

Hi Everyone,

Things have been quiet for a while, and we are ready for that to end! Let's go and explore all 5 National Parks of Utah in 5 days! Arches,
Canyonlands, Capitol Reef, Bryce Canyon, and Zion! You don't want to miss out on this epic hiking tour.

This is an active tour with a significant intermediate hike each day. It's not hard-core hiking but a solid intermediate on an iconic trail in each park.

This trip will be a small group trip with a maximum of 8 passengers. 5 nights of lodging, five breakfasts, five picnic lunches, and one dinner are included. It will also include transportation in an 11-passenger Ford Transit raised-roof van.

Park entry fees are not included in the tour price, but I can organize them to keep the cost to about $30 per person for the entire trip to all five parks.

You will need to book your flight into Salt Lake City on the 16th and arrange transportation to the Marriott Downtown. The trip will begin on October 17th at 7:00 a.m. Lodging on the 16th is included. The trip will conclude in Salt Lake City on the evening of 10/21. Accommodation is not included for the night of 10/21 to provide the options of a late flight home or an early flight home the following day. We will drop you at any hotel in the downtown/airport Salt Lake City area.

Itinerary/Cost:
We will be in communication about all the details with you personally if you decide to take the trip.

10/16- Get a flight into Salt Lake City using one of the many convenient modes of transport to the Marriott Downtown. Be in the heart of downtown SLC and explore the Capitol area, Temple Square, and activities of SLC.

10/17- Depart the Marriott hotel at 7:00 a.m to make our way to the canyon country of Utah. We will make the 3.5-hour drive to Canyonlands National Park and spend the afternoon exploring the Islands in the Sky section. Hikes will include Mesa Arch, Upheaval Dome, or Whale Rock. Finish in Moab for two nights at the Wingate by Wyndham.

10/18- Leave early for a morning hike to Delicate Arch in Arches National Park. Explore many other short walks/hikes in Arches and spend the afternoon in the Colorado River Canyon. Stay in Moab.

10/19- Pack up and depart Moab for a 3.5-hour drive that is split up by exploring Goblin Valley State Park, then Capitol Reef National Park. We will see stunning landscapes and have an amazing hike in this overlooked gem. Stay at the Capitol Reef Resort just miles outside the park.

10/20- On this busy day, we depart the resort early and drive the historic All-American Scenic Road, HWY 12, through Escalante National Monument as we make our way to the Hoodoos of Bryce Canyon for an epic hike through the Hoodoos. In the afternoon, we will make our way to Zion National Park and its epic landscapes. We will stay in Springdale, Utah, for the night at the La Quinta.

10/21- We will load up for one last day of adventure as we are at the entrance to Zion. We will go and hike inside the Zion Canyon and will have several options to be decided by the group. Angels Landing is now permitted and can't be promised. The Narrows will be weather-dependent, and getting optional water equipment (shoes, etc.) will be your choice. In the afternoon, we will make the 4-hour drive back to Salt Lake City to be dropped off at the airport or a hotel of your choosing.

Aaron's Two Cents:
This trip is world-class and extraordinary. We get into some of the most beautiful country around. Please message me or email me personally at: aaron@tetonexcursions.com

I am a small tour operator, so everything is professional, licensed, and permitted. Please check out our reviews (Teton Excursions) on Google or TripAdvisor.

I'm doing this tour as a special for the Meetup group. You can explore this tour with other companies, and they are charging about $500 more per person. I want to spend the fall in Utah and show some travelers this amazing place.

Email me. I'm glad to set up a call to discuss any details. Don't book tickets until you have a confirmed spot.
