Join us for a refined tea gathering inspired by 5,000 years of Asian roots and Chinese civilization, set within a charming heritage home in the James Bay Neighbourhood. Our goal is to bring together a community that values presence, culture, and meaningful connection in a warm and welcoming setting.
What to expect:
This experience will take place from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM’ish. We will begin with a brief welcome and introduction to the space, inviting you to settle into the unique atmosphere of this beautiful heritage home and meet your hosts. From there, you’ll be guided through an ancient tea tasting, exploring tea as a living practice of clarity, balance, and awareness rooted in centuries of tradition.
You’ll then enjoy a presentation on Shen Yun, discovering the beauty and cultural depth of this extraordinary performing arts group and their mission. The evening will continue into a relaxed high tea setting with refreshments, thoughtfully prepared foods, and light snacks—creating space to connect, unwind, and enjoy the atmosphere together.
What to bring & arrival details:
Please bring an open mind and a willingness to slow down and enjoy the experience. Comfortable, semi-formal attire is encouraged. Street parking is available, as well as parking along the side of the house. The address is provided in the event listing, and we will be there to warmly welcome you upon arrival.
