NYC LGBTQ+ Sports Leagues expo at Boxers in Hell's Kitchen

OutCycling will be participating at the NYC LGBT SPORTS NETWORK'S event at Boxers on Wednesday, February 1 at 6 pm. Come by or table and say hello! We'll have information about our upcoming season, including the Spring Training Series, Pride Ride 2023, French countryside tour, and plenty more. Ask us anything.

Out of Bounds NYC, Inc. (OOBNYC) is proud to announce the first annual “Spring Season Kickoff,” an LGBTQ+ Sports Social & Recruiting Event on February 1, 2023 from 6pm to 9pm at Boxers Hell’s Kitchen located at 735 Ninth Avenue, New York, New York 10019. Inita D. will be our MC for the event. The event will feature over twenty (20) exhibitors (primarily local LGBTQ+ sports & recreation community organizations) along with 2-for-1 happy hour drink specials. The event will include a presentation for the Gay Games to be held in Hong Kong and Guadalajara in November 2023. The Gay Games is an international quadrennial sporting event for the LGBTQ+ community and our allies first held in San Francisco in 1982. The 2022 Gay Games were postponed to 2023 because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Registration for the Gay Games is now open. Representatives from the Federation of the Gay Games will be present at our spring season kickoff to provide information and answer questions.

Each exhibitor will have a table to showcase their programs for the community. Exhibitors at our past events offer a wide range of local sports & recreation programs for the LGBTQ+ community and our allies, including, but not limited to: running/jogging/track & field, swimming, water polo, diving, artistic swimming (f/k/a “synchronized swimming”), cycling, triathlon, football, basketball, tennis, hockey, pool/billiards, wrestling, cheer/gymnastics and hiking. Various local seasonal sports organizations (with programs such as football, basketball, softball, soccer, rugby, tennis, hockey, volleyball, dodgeball, kickball, bowling, cheer and pool/billiards) will be providing information on registration for their spring season. Please note that spring season registration for some seasonal sports may open prior to the date of the event. Anyone interested in participating in a spring seasonal sport should start researching eligibility criteria and registration information immediately. Exhibitor table registration is now open for our spring season kickoff. The registration period will close on December 31, 2022.
