This year is the 20th anniversary of the film: The Phenomenon Bruno Groening. In 2003, it premiered in cinemas in Munich and Berlin, Switzerland, New York followed by screenings in Sydney, Australia.

In 1949 one name dominates the headlines: Bruno Groening. This film traces the dramatic events of that time with original film and sound recordings, archival material, more than 50 eyewitness interviews, as well as elaborate film re-enactments. All this makes the film a deeply impressive experience.

In autumn of 1949, close to 30,000 people were drawn to the Traberhof in Rosenheim daily. Newspapers, radio and television reported: “It is beyond reason. Bruno Groening heals the crippled, the blind, the deaf...”

A film with a special power
