This is a rescheduled event from earlier this month. We have paid for the shelter and the campground site so this event has almost no chance of being cancelled!
The location: The Rolling View Access at Falls Lake State Recreation Area, including Shelter 14 and the wheelchair-accessible fishing pier, is located at 4201 Baptist Road, Durham, NC 27703. It is situated on the west side of the lake, roughly five miles east of Durham and seven miles west of NC 50.
We almost have all food figured out. We will be cooking on-site. burgers, dogs, etc. We need people to volunteer to bring other items. Preferably please bring store-bought product. We will use Meetup to coordinate all of the details, Right now, save the date. We will be kayaking, and what we hope is a celebration of everyone we have met and hiked with this year.
