Interested in making movies and looking for fellow PDX artists to work with? Let's help each other out!
This is a social + networking group for amateur filmmakers (though interested professionals are welcome). We welcome directors, actors, writers, cinematographers, sound people, editors... In fact, you may find yourself doing any or all of the above in one project.
The format of each meeting is: we have a beer or two. We sit in a circle. We measure, assess, and align the circle. Then we go around the circle and each person introduces themself -- what they do, how they'd like to help, whether they have a project seeking specific cast and crew members... After checking the circle one last time for straightness, we get back to socializing and trade contact info to meet up and start shooting!
We focus on small projects and short films that we make together FOR FUN. We're not trying to break into the industry (for now...), we just want to practice our craft with others. Beginners welcome!
